Ohio laws minors dating 18 year olds
So here’s everything you need to know about statutory rape. Statutory rape is sexual activity between two people in which one person is under the age of consenting to sexual activity in the first place. Okay, how do I find out what the age of consent is where I live.
Yeah, it’s such a faux pas to link to Wikipedia, but they have an extensive list of the age of consent in every single country/state/territory on the planet so there you go.
Statutory rape laws are generally far more concerned with the latter.
They protect kids and teenagers from manipulative predators who can easily manipulate their way into a younger person’s heart and bedroom. what if I’m 16-years-old and my boyfriend just turned 18-years-old? Now, here’s where things get a little funky and there’s a name for this funkiness: Romeo and Juliet laws. Trust, it’s really not as over the top and fatal as it sounds.
Are you going to expect them to support you now that you have moved out so you can party hardy or leach off your friends? I know that my biological father is forced to continue paying child support untill I graduate.
Ahhh he can walk around with a big plastic bag and collect aluminimum cans for $.58 a pound and go dumpster diving for nearly spoiled produce, yummmmmmy I hope he took some warm sweaters, I understand it's cold in Ohio lately. I was wondering if my mom can still keep collecting event though I am not there, or can I recieve the support now.
Just to inform the ones of you who view this or post replies to my original post, I moved out last night and there was nothing my parents could do to stop me.
I was entitled to things I purchased and my clothes.
Quesiton, have you finished all your graduation requirements and only waiting for the diploma and walking the line or do you stil have some HS classes to finish?
If you have completed all the requirements and just waiting for the diploma you could move out, but think about it otherwise you may eventually move back in, it happens every day, your parents are not obligated to support you after you graduate from college.
But jaywalking is also against the law and people do that all the time.
The point I’m making is that unless someone goes out of their way to bring you and your boo to court, you’re safe to continue doing whatever you two are doing.
